Analog art is the opposite: handmade, unique, non-reproducible. That’s why we present the works of Annette Falk Lund – a Danish artist who has been creating paintings for over 25 years that no algorithm could ever produce.

The Artist

Annette Falk Lund

Annette Falk Lund was born in Ribnitz-Damgarten in the former GDR and has lived in Denmark since 1993. For over 25 years, she has worked as a painter – focusing on narrative and abstract art.

Her works arise from improvisation and contemplation: oil and gouache on coarse canvas, limestone paper, brushes that lose their way, paint that drips and finds its fate. The result is allegories about humans and nature – or humans within nature.

Since 2015, Annette has been experimenting with abstract forms and reduction to the essentials. Her black works are intense and thoughtful – for some, deep and dark; for others, dynamic color abstractions. Each piece is unique and cannot be reproduced.
